After figuring out how that my propane was in fact fine, I spent some time in Tacumcari, NM. This is a tiny town right over the border and many of the shops in town have been all but forgotten.

Located right along Old Route 66, this town is a must see and showcases lots of the businesses that once were. There is a donut shop in town that I swear has the best donuts I’ve ever tasted and when people say the sunsets in NM are unreal they are not lying.

If you pass through this town, take your time and enjoy the sites of the once thriving Route 66 and get some donuts !
