A place I can’t wait to get back to

This photo is my lock screen because I am still obsessed with the sunsets in New Mexico. I made it down to Los Cruces, NM a town very close to the Mexico border.

This area was so nice because it was close to town but also so close to many trails that took you through the base of the nearby mountains. I don’t think I have ever seen such beautiful sunsets. New Mexico had never been on my list of travel spots that were MUST go’s but after this trip, I would love to go back and spend more time exploring. It was also my first time meeting another van girl. We were both parked at the same campground and she also had a dog. I am still kind of new to meeting people on the road so I did not ask for her number or instagram handle or anything so I don’t know where she is in the world now but I was glad to have met her.
