Visiting Kakabeka Falls

Kakabeka Falls is nicknamed ‘Niagara of the North’ and for good reason. It is the second highest waterfall in Ontario and is about 40 meters (131 ft) tall!

Since I have the Ontario Park pass, I decided to stop by and see this massive waterfall. There are walking trails and platform overlooks that visitors can use to view the waterfall and the see the rive below. This is a nice quick stop along the way to wherever you are going nearby.

I only spent about 20 - 30 minutes walking around and seeing the waterfall from the different viewpoints. A great morning stop!
